Artist Bio
Kate Henke is an aspiring young artist from Northern Minnesota. She honors simplicity, sophistication, peace and deliberation in her work. She chooses to represent social issues in ways that are straightforward and can be understood; she also likes to incorporate architectural details and natural materials into her practice. Kate uses paper, wood, and paint, along with found objects and demonstrates ecological awareness through her work. Kate is currently a student at the Oxbow School and is planning to attend college.
